What do our customers say?

Southern Carpathians were a big surprise. An unknown area for me in which we met huge mountains, amazing views, bears, lynx, pristine forests and lots of charming and welcoming people. The acommodations were cozy, authentic and comfortable and we had different nature and gastronomic experiences that were amazing. I really recommend it.

Having our rewilding nature guide on our side during the whole walk gave so many insights about the bison, so that, even if we could not spot them in the end, we embraced them. What they eat, how they attack trees for various reasons, how they hide and silently blend into the landscape. It's not your usual wildlife watching experience: I call it wildlife feeling instead, because if you learn how to feel, you are connected to them through your senses and imagination.

One of the highlights of our time in Rusca was a bison tracking experience in the mountains. It was both fascinating and educational as we observed the positive impact these majestic animals have on their environment and discovered many signs of their presence. Our adventure culminated in a delightful picnic near an old shepherd hut high in the mountains, where we enjoyed delicious local food amidst the serene wilderness.
